Trauma and Biohazard Cleanup
Biohazard Cleanup With Your Health in Mind
Your family and staff stay clear of blood and other fluids that can carry disease, because our technicians handle every part of the cleanup. They wear protective gear, remove what can’t be cleaned, and disinfect what stays.
We also know this may be one of the hardest days of your life. We take care of the whole job, including rebuilding the flooring or drywall we have to take out, so you don’t have to line up anyone else for the repairs.
How Biohazard Cleanup Works
Our Trauma and Biohazard Cleanup Process
01
We answer and plan the cleanup
We take your call 24/7, ask a few questions about what happened and where, and schedule a trained crew to start once the scene has been released.
02
We set up the work area
We block off the room, put on protective suits and respirators, and set up a clear path in and out, so we don’t track contamination through the rest of your home or business.
03
We remove, clean, and disinfect
We take out soaked materials like carpet, padding, and drywall, then clean and disinfect the surfaces that stay and check the nearby rooms for anything that spread.
04
We remove the odor and rebuild
We treat any odor that remains, then we replace the flooring and drywall we removed to put the room back together.
In an Emergency
What to Do After a Death or Serious Injury
Call 911 First
If someone has died or been hurt, call 911 and follow the dispatcher’s instructions. Other than helping anyone injured, leave the area as it is, and if police or the medical examiner come, wait until they release it.
Keep Everyone Out
Keep family, staff, and pets away from the affected area, and don’t try to clean blood or fluids yourself, since they can carry disease.
Wash Any Exposure
If anyone touched blood or fluids, wash the skin with soap and water, rinse the eyes or mouth with plenty of water, and see a doctor or other medical provider promptly.
Call Our Team
Once the scene is released, call us at (866) 604-8697. We answer 24/7 and will have a trained crew ready to start, so the cleanup is off your hands.
Our People
Our Alaska Biohazard Cleanup Team

Additional Restoration Services After a Trauma or Biohazard Event
Some scenes also leave water, smoke, or structural damage behind, and belongings in nearby rooms may need cleaning or storage. We take care of that work along with the biohazard cleanup.
Water Damage Restoration
We respond 24/7 to water emergencies, so we start removing the water sooner and limit how far it spreads.
Water Damage Restoration →Mold Removal and Remediation
We seal off the work area before we remove mold, so you can usually keep using the rest of your property.
Mold Remediation →Frozen Pipes and Ice Dams
We dry the ceilings, walls, and insulation a burst pipe or ice dam soaks, so hidden moisture doesn’t keep spreading.
Frozen Pipes and Ice Dams →Reconstruction and Repairs
We go over the repair plan with you before we start, so you know what we’ll rebuild.
Reconstruction →Contents Cleaning and Storage
We clean belongings and keep them in heated storage, so we can protect the things you care about during repairs.
Contents Cleaning →Fire and Smoke Damage Restoration
When we clean the soot from walls, ceilings, and floors after a fire, you keep more of your original building.
Fire Damage Restoration →Carpet and Upholstery Cleaning
We deep clean carpet in the rooms around the affected area, so we can often save it instead of replacing it.

Taylored Restoration FAQs
Anchorage, Mat-Su, and Fairbanks Biohazard Cleanup FAQs
Will insurance pay for biohazard cleanup?
It depends on your policy, so call your insurer before the cleanup starts. We work with insurance companies and document the work for your claim, and if someone was hurt or killed in a violent crime, ask whether the state’s crime victim compensation program can help with the cost.
Can you clean up after a death that wasn’t found right away?
Yes. When a death goes unnoticed for days, fluids and odor reach further into flooring and walls, so we remove the affected materials, disinfect the area, and treat the odor at its source.
Don’t the police clean up the scene?
No. Police and the medical examiner investigate and release the scene, but they don’t clean it. Once it’s released, call us, and we’ll take it from there.
Will the smell go away?
Usually, yes. Odor comes from the materials the fluids soaked into, so we remove those first, then treat the room to clear what’s left in the air and on surfaces.
Can a family member or landlord arrange the cleanup?
Yes. Families settling an estate, landlords, and property managers can call us to arrange it, and we work with whoever is handling the property and its insurance.
Can any belongings in the room be saved?
Often, some can. We clean and disinfect hard items the fluids didn’t soak into, but mattresses, carpet, and upholstered furniture that absorbed them usually have to go, and we’ll tell you what we recommend removing.
