Deciding what to keep after a loss is hard enough without packing and hauling it yourself. We take that off your plate, packing up the rooms, cleaning what can be saved at our facility, and bringing everything back once your property is ready.
Since we’re also the company drying and rebuilding your property, we time the pack-out, the cleaning, and the move back around your repairs, so your belongings don’t sit in storage any longer than the work takes.

We plan the pack-out with you
We walk through each room with you, note what’s damaged and what isn’t, and agree on which rooms we’ll pack, so you’re clear on what’s leaving and what’s staying put.

We inventory and pack your things
We inventory every item as it leaves your property, pack it carefully, and move it to our facility, so you have a written record of what we’re holding and where it is.

We clean and store your belongings
We clean furniture, clothing, and household items at our cleaning station, remove smoke and other odors, and dry anything that got wet before it goes into our heated storage.

We bring it all back
Once your repairs are finished, we deliver your belongings and set them back in the rooms where they belong, matching each piece to the inventory as it comes in.

Wait Until It’s Safe
Don’t go back inside until a fire official or building inspector clears the structure. Nothing you own is worth the risk of a collapse, live wires, or lingering smoke and fumes.
Photograph the Damage
Photograph rooms and damaged items before anything is moved or thrown away, and call your insurance company to open a claim so your adjuster can see what was affected.
Leave Electronics Off

Does insurance pay for packing and storing my belongings?
Often, yes, when the damage is part of a covered claim, since moving belongings out protects them during repairs. Coverage depends on your policy, so we document everything we pack and share the inventory with your adjuster.
What should I keep with me during a pack-out?
Keep medications, ID, important papers, chargers, and anything you’ll need day to day while the repairs are underway. We pack and move the rest, so you’re not hauling boxes yourself.
Do you have to move everything out?
Not always. We usually pack out the rooms being repaired and anything that needs cleaning, and items in undamaged rooms can often stay. We’ll walk through the property with you and decide together.
Where are my belongings kept, and are they protected?
In our own heated, secured storage facility. An Alaska winter in an unheated unit can crack wood finishes and damage electronics, photos, and anything holding liquid, so we keep your belongings warm and locked away until they come back to your property.
What happens to items you can’t restore?
We photograph them and list them on the inventory, so you and your adjuster have a record of them for the claim.
How long will my belongings be in storage?
Until we finish the repairs on your property. How long that takes depends on how much of the building needs work, and we’ll tell you what to expect once we’ve seen the damage.
