Our Story
Built on Trust, Quality, and Compassion
Taylored Restoration was founded in 1972 by Larry and Elaine Taylor in an office in their home. In 1986 we expanded to restore homes after fire and flood damage, and in 1992 Lisa and Trent Taylor joined their parents full time. Larry and Elaine’s values of trust, quality, and compassion still guide everything we do.
Today, we have more than 50 years of experience and three Alaska offices. We’re an IICRC Certified Firm that’s licensed, bonded, and insured, and we keep doing what we’ve always done, turning disasters into new beginnings and making customers for life.

FAQ
Questions About Our Company
Do you handle the whole job, or will I need other contractors?
Usually not. We take the job from cleanup through the rebuild, and when another trade like an HVAC company is involved, we coordinate with them, so you have one schedule to follow. If a broken pipe caused the damage, we can connect you with a plumber to fix it.
Can you remodel my home even if nothing is damaged?
Yes. Taylored Restoration started as a remodeling company, and we still take on kitchens, baths, additions, and smaller home repairs through our remodeling and repairs service.
What does being an IICRC-certified firm mean for my property?
It means we follow the industry’s restoration standards on your property. The IICRC, the organization that sets standards for cleaning and restoration work, certifies our firm.
Can I read reviews from your customers?
Yes. Our reviews page shows Google reviews from customers in Anchorage, the Mat-Su Valley, and Fairbanks, covering jobs from burst pipes to biohazard cleanup.
Are you hiring?
Yes. We post our current openings for carpenters, technicians, and crew leaders on our careers page, with jobs in Anchorage, the Mat-Su Valley, and Fairbanks.
