Management Team

Manager/Owner

Trent Taylor, Owner and General Manager of Taylored Restoration, has over 30 years of experience in the business, having worked alongside my parents, who founded the company. I was born in Portland, Oregon, and relocated to Alaska at the age of two weeks. I am a proud father of five children: three adult daughters, Jazmin, Toni, and Tiana, who are twins, as well as two younger children, Liv and Louis. In my free time, I enjoy spending quality moments with my family and engaging in skiing, fishing, traveling, hiking, and hunting. Additionally, I contribute to the community by volunteering with the Gomez Foundation, which assists underprivileged children in accessing hockey, and the Rush Soccer Club. I have completed two half Ironman competitions and a mountain marathon, and I was also the chess champion during elementary school. My appreciation for working at Taylored Restoration stems from my relationships with my colleagues, the satisfaction that comes from helping others, and the supportive, family-oriented environment we foster here.

In his leisure time, Matt enjoys outdoor activities such as riding ATVs and fishing. He continues to support his Minnesota roots by following the MN Wild (NHL) and Vikings (NFL). Reasons for enjoying his role at Taylored Restoration include the opportunity to assist the community with their restoration projects and the collaborative, friendly workplace environment.

My name is Jenna Gelinas, but I go by Jen. I serve as the Supervisor and Mitigation Estimator for Department 9. Growing up in a military family, I moved frequently and was born in Eau Claire, Wisconsin, but have called Chickaloon, Alaska my home since 2000. I am highly dedicated to my family, which includes my husband, Michael, a veteran currently employed with Local Union 23 in Sheet Metal Fabrication. We have two children: Joseph, who is 11 years old and enjoys drawing comic characters as well as fishing, and Adelina, who is 9 years old and has a passion for swimming and arts and crafts. Additionally, we have a black lab named Lucifer, who enjoys riding on the four-wheeler and spending cuddle time with us. In my leisure time, I relish activities such as camping, four-wheeling, snow machining, hiking, and baking. As a family, we make it a tradition to volunteer at a local homeless shelter every Thanksgiving. I take great pride in my military service, during which I received multiple awards and medals while stationed overseas and was honored to bring many fallen soldiers back home to their families. My service took me to various locations, including Bahrain, Ireland, Germany, Kandahar (Afghanistan), Kuwait, Qatar, and Bagram. Once I complete the renovations on my house, I aspire to launch my own baked goods side business. I particularly enjoy working at Taylored Restoration due to its strong emphasis on family values compared to other companies.

Administrative Team

Project Manager Assistant/Office Administrator
My name is Jeannie White, and I have been affectionately nicknamed “Bean Dip” by a family member. I initiated my career at Taylored Restoration as a Contents Technician and have since progressed to the role of Estimator Assistant. I was born on a poultry farm in Saukville, WI, and have spent most of my life in Milwaukee, WI, growing up alongside my twelve siblings. I do not have any baby photographs and did not require a babysitter during my childhood. In my leisure time, I enjoy various outdoor activities such as camping, hiking, biking, and paddle boating on the pond during the summer, which I can admire from my covered deck. Additionally, I express my creativity by painting Mandalas on old vinyl records. I have been in a partnership with Tony for ten years, and together we have a dog named Pixie and two cats named Attie and Cleo. I also cherish my role as a bonus parent to my daughter and son-in-law, along with four bonus grandchildren. I am grateful for the independence I have gained, including the ability to purchase my own home and build the life I desire. Every year, my office in Fairbanks participates in Fairbanks Clean Up Day, and I take pride in contributing to the cleanliness of my community. I find great fulfillment in my work at Taylored Restoration, particularly in assisting customers as they navigate through some of the most challenging and devastating circumstances of their lives.
