These elements can come together in many different locations in your home. If you are aware of the areas mold commonly grows, you can take measures to prevent it. This is where to look.

Bathroom. Bathrooms create the perfect environment for mold growth. Moisture, heat, and poor ventilation can easily result in a mold problem. Always make sure to turn on your exhaust fan so the room is able to properly dry out.

It’s important to regularly check the areas around your appliances to ensure they aren’t leaking. Similarly, check the pipe under your sink to make sure there’s no water leaking out.
